Stone iPhone Stand
Necessity is the mother of invention. My faithful and ancient alarm has started to fail me, the buttons are sticking and the alarm switch doesn’t always seem to work. Also, I have a weird work schedule so my alarm doesn’t go off everyday at the same time. Because of that I’ve been looking at various day off the week alarms and have considered a couple of the iPhone alarm clocks. Today, I took the plunge and purchase “Best Alarm” for $.99. I put it through it’s paces and decided that it seemed serviceable, but I needed stand to hold my phone so that I could see it at those annoying moments in the middle of the night when I wake up for no particular reason. I had quite a few left over cut-offs of soapstone from remodeling the kitchen, so I’ve crafted a stand that holds the iPhone both in the vertical and horizontal position. Not content with just one, I also made one for my wife and one for work.
